New Federal Tax Tables for 2009

The Internal Revenue Service released new Federal Income Tax Withholdings tables and Earned Income Credit (EIC) tables. The new tables incorporate the new Making Work Pay credit, one of the key tax provisions included in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The IRS asks that employers start using these new tables as soon as possible, but not later than April 1.

These new tax tables are available for Open Systems OSAS) versions 7.5x and 7.03 - and TRAVERSE versions 10.5  and 10.2 to all customers current on the annual software maintenance program.
