TRAVERSE and Office 2003 SP3 compatibility alert - UPDATE

Microsoft has acknowledged that there are problems with Service Pack 3 (SP3) for Office 2003 that affect not only TRAVERSE, but many other MS Access-based software applications. They have escalated the situation to a 'hot-fix' status. This means that Microsoft will be providing an update to the Service Pack.

At this time, Open Systems  does not have a commitment from Microsoft as to when this will become available.  They are working closely with Microsoft on the issue, and when an update becomes available they will test it and notify us as to its availability.  We will then notify all our customers regarding installation.

Until the appropriate update is available, we recommend that you do not install the SP3 for Office 2003. Note that while it is always important to stay current with service packs for any product, this one does not include fixes for any issues that are TRAVERSE related or any urgent security issues.
